In 2014 Cherkasy region celebrates the 60th anniversary. This is a very significant event for the region, which is a historical center of Ukraine and geographical center of Europe and has significant cultural heritage. For the years of its existence, the region has been actively developed industrially, economically and socially, despite the historical and economic difficulties. The difficulties had to be overcome, there were always people who understand in what direction to move, regardless of changes in the priorities, which made it possible to preserve and increase wealth and achievements of the country already in a modern history. Among them the is the region?s government, which understands the responsibility imposed upon it and promotes the active development of Cherkasy region, and entrepreneurs who raise the economy of the region, contributing to the growth of the welfare of its residents.

Among them is Vladimir Anatolievich Khodak, the owner of LLC ?Khodak?, a Deputy of Cherkasy regional Council, who created the enterprise in the turbulent years of Ukrainian statehood formation. ?At a time of fundamental changes in society and the economy each person has a special responsibility for his own future, his children, and the future of his country, - says Vladimir. ? To overcome such difficult circumstances is not easy, but is necessary. This is what Vladimir and Irina Khodak did - they founded in 1995 the trading company. Overcoming many risks, a small company has become a successful company, one of the best in the region. And if the owners started their business with a team of five people, now the company employs more than 600. The car park has 30 units of freight cars, including refrigerators.

The activity of the company is dealing mainly with logistic and marketing services. LLC ?Khodak? cooperates with the leading domestic manufacturers, including regional, among which such well known trademarks, as ?Kraft Ukraine?, the ?Rud?, ?KONTI?, ?Levada?, ?Aquamarine? and many others.

?One of the important constituents of our success is a team of highly professional specialists who are not only capable to carry out the assigned tasks, - says Vladimir Khodak, but are also able to respond promptly and effectively to changing market and competitive environment. Today it is important for us to work for the future, because business is a constant evolution of development, changes of the standards that constantly grow?.

However, the interests of Vladimir Anatolyevich are not limited with just business management. He pays great attention to charity projects. In particular, since 10 years has been continued friendship between the children?s home ?Warm house? and collective of the enterprise LLC ?Khodak?. In addition, the company provides assistance to children?s oncological dispensary, specialized kindergartens, welfare funds, and, if possible, to all who needs emergency aid. Vladimir Khodak cares also for the sports sector supporting children?s sports school, assisting the development of football in Cherkasy region, including children football teams, supporting other active sport events. The staff of LLC was also one of those who supported the initiative of the Governor about the revival of football in the Cherkasy region ? and the football club ?Slavutich? was founded, which is now has its own history.

?Today it is important if entrepreneurs have the desire to do something more besides business, - says Vladimir Khodak, - life proves that not everything is measured in monetary terms. It is important to be useful to society, to specific people - that?s my philosophy?.

Parliamentary work is an important part of life for the head of LLC ?Khodak?. For him it is not just the honorary mission but the duties that must be done. Tasks he has to work. It includes consideration of social and economic issues, the work on the special programs for Cherkasy region. It is a direct work with people, help in solving problems, including business issues. After all, Vladimir Anatolyevich heads the city union of employers.

?In my opinion, today we need to consolidate common efforts of the government, business community and society in finding mutual understanding. So, together, we will succeed. Moreover, to Ukraine now is riveted the attention of the international community and we should use this factor for the maximum benefit of our country. We must act properly, efficiently, systematically aiming for a good result. I want to emphasize that there are many achievements in life of the region, good, positive examples in the development of the region, in business, sports, cultural and artistic life. ?We always want someone to do something for us, we want to live like in Europe, but 95 percent of the changes depend on ourselves?.

The ability to organize himself and the people who work next, allow Vladimir Khodak being a successful businessman, a respected Deputy, a patron of art and philanthropist, who lives high standards of morality, responsibility and patriotism in the best sense of the word.

?We are patriots of our land. We want Cherkasy region to be constantly developing, be interesting as a place for tourism. We would like people to come here, get acquainted with the history and culture of the region, having the possibility to see its progress. It is very important to have a perspective economic development, because if the business operates in the region resources are formed, which in turn affect the ability to maintain certain living standards for people?.

Next year the company of Vladimir Anatolyevich will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its activities, which is the evident confirmation of the correctness of the chosen business course and the ability to react promptly to the changes and needs of the market.
