Khristinovsky district was formed in 1923, on the territory of Kyiv region. In 1954, it became a part of Cherkasy region as an administrative and territorial unit. 000000001

In 1956 Khristinivka was attributed to the category of district subordination. In Khristinivka area were born a lot of prominent people. In Khristinivka was born Alexander Korneichuk a famous Ukrainian writer, playwright, the author of the plays ?Death of squadrons?, ?Platon Krechet?, ?Bogdan Khmelnitskiy? and others. The municipal comprehensive school №1, the Park and one of the streets of the city are named after Alexander Korneichuk. This district is the motherland of one of the leaders of koliivshchyna Ivan Gonta and Hero of the Soviet Union and full cavalier of the order of Glory Ivan Drachenko. This is an agricultural region, where the traditions of a golden field masters are kept and enriched, where many famous people lived: Fedor Beregoviy, Semen Karbovskiy, Stanislav Zabrodskiy, Martha Lemestchuk, Anna Guk, Anastasia Kobzar.

From February 18, 2013 for the post of Chairman of Khristinivsky district state administration of the Cherkasy region was appointed Bogdan Ivanovich Tychonevich who had worked before as the head of management of agro-industrial development, Deputy Chairman and later Chairman of Monastiristshenska RSA.

- Bogdan Ivanovich, your district is predominantly agricultural. Please tell us about the results of work in agriculture for the last year.

- In 2013 in Khristinivka was grown and gathered a rich harvest of grain crops. The gross harvest of grain is 167,3 thousand tones with the average grain harvest of 65,8 quintals per a hectare.

The gross harvest of winter wheat in Khristinivka district is amounted to 44 thousand tons with the average harvest of 45.8 quintals per a hectare.

Enough rainfall during the growing season, moderate air temperatures had a positive impact on the harvest of such significant grain crops as corn. Due to this, the gross harvest was made 109,5 thousand tons, with the harvest gathering of 99.0 quintals per a hectare. Biological features of sunflower and usage of modern intensive technology in the farms gave the possibility to reach in 2013 the highest level in the history of the area harvest for 33.3 quintals per a hectare, which is in 6-10 quintals per a hectare more compared with previous years.

In 2013 high indicators were achieved in the farms of the district, which satisfied the scientifically substantiated systems of managing agriculture, in particular, the balanced structure of sown areas and alternation of crops in crop rotations. First of all, these are the farms where cattle breeding available and a certain amount of land is under feed crops that are good predecessors for grain, including the main grain food crop is winter wheat. Besides the important role in formation of high harvest of early grain had the introduction of sufficient quantities well balanced standards of organic and mineral fertilizes.

By agricultural enterprises of the area under crops in 2014 were sown 11020 hectares of winter crops, including 9,500 hectares of winter wheat, 1,500 hectares of winter barley, 20 hectares of winter rye, 1850 hectares of rapeseed. Crops are in good condition. Autumn plowing on the square 30700 hectares was done, including a deep one for 800 hectares. In 2014 we expect to grow crops not less than it was in 2013.

Agricultural production occupies a significant share of the livestock industry. To manage the livestock industry 15 agricultural enterprises are involved, where are 11883 numbers of cattle that is in 109 numbers more that it was before at the beginning of the year, including 4011 cows, that is in 81 numbers more it used to be before the beginning of the year, pigs are1023 numbers.

For 2013 were produced 24826 tons of milk, that is in 1091 tons more compared with the previous year. The productivity of cows rose by 188 kg and was 6213 kg from each cow, it were produced 2214 tons of meat.

In 2013 agricultural enterprises for rent units were credited 27.4 million UAH, it was paid 27.3 million, that is 99.9 %.

Between the agricultural enterprises and territorial communities were signed agreements on social partnership at the sum of $ 2.6 million UAH based on 101 UAH per hectare, which were performed on 100 %.

On the initiative of the head of regional state administration S.B.Tulub by the agricultural enterprises of the district at the expense of social agreement were given 25 cows in private households.

- Please say a few words about the program ?Building a new Khristinivtshina? for 2011-2015?.

- The program ?Building a new Khristinivtshina? for 2011-2015, was developed by the district state administration, as a component of the regional program of ?Building a new Cherkastshina? for 2011-2015 and combines measures aimed at solving the basic problems of territorial communities of Khristinivtshina.

By the end of 2013 it had been carried out work on implementation of the regional program on the amount of 81866,847 thousand UAH.

By the end of 2013 it had been carried out repairs for electricity lighting in 13 rural settlements in the amount of 564,892 thousand UAH.

By the end of 2013 it had been performed repairs of roads totaling 3962,607 thousand UAH.

To improve the conditions for education of children of school and preschool age in the reporting year was made the repair of educational institutions totaling 1485,326 thousand UAH.

On repair of cultural institutions were invested in the amount of 751,5 thousand UAH. The renovation of health facilities during the year were invested funds 159,0 thousand UAH.

For improvement of residential areas were invested funds of local budgets in the amount of 743,7 thousand UAH and was given a sponsorship in the amount of 812,5 thousand UAH.

The reconstruction of the Obelisk of Glory in the village of Sevastianovka for the funds of the local farm ?Rom? in the amount of 32.0 thousand UAH (were repaired the steps).

For the funds of local budgets:

- was done a renewal of common grave in village Botvinivka spending $ 15.0 thousand UAH;

- was held the repair of Glory obelisk in Yagubetz village for 5.0 thousand UAH;

- was carried out the repair of the memorial sign in the village Verchnyachka on the sum of 20.0 thousand UAH;

- was made the overhaul of the Obelisk of Glory in village Talalaivka for 161,0 thousand UAH.

It was made the reconstruction of Taras Shevchenko park in B.Sevastianovka village with the establishment of a bust of the poet by sponsorship funds in the amount of 212,5 thousand UAH.

It was conducted painting the Church in village Letshinovka by sponsorship funds in the amount of 600.0 thousand UAH.

For the development of agriculture were mastered enterprises ? own funds in the amount of 4050,0 thousand UAH.

During 2013 it was commissioned at the expense of own funds a number of socially important objects, namely:

- the construction of the electrical power supply on the production platform of LLC ?Lukrum 2007?, Khristinivka, Kirov str., 1A (LLC ?Lukrum 2007?) - 410,0 thousand UAH;

- gasification of the operational elevator for oilseeds of 40 thousand tons capacity on the production platform on Kirov str., 1A, Khristinivka, - 555,8 thousand UAH;

- a grain cleaning complex, with a capacity of 40 thousand tons (drying of grain 1 thousand tons per day) on LLC ?Аgrovit? B.Sevastianovka village - 34559,8 thousand UAH;

- a modernization of Talalaev crushing and screening plant in processing granite, Zhovtneva street, 26A village Talalaevka (LLC ?Alfa Plus?) - 13497,2 thousand UAH.

- And the last question: what would you wish for the residents of the district to the 60th anniversary of Cherkasy region, which this year has coincided with Christmas?

- Anniversary is an occasion for summarize, it is an opportunity to discuss together the important task for us for the future. We must make every effort, knowledge and experience, to preserve and multiply the values and traditions of our fellow countrymen, who were created and carefully passed from generation to generation.
