11.11.11 was a significant date for the first plant in Ukraine Food Empire, the manufacturer of the world famous coffee MacCoffee, as well as familiar to many Ukrainians coffee ?Petrovskaya Sloboda?. This very day started the production lines of the enterprise. When a Singaporean company made the decision on creation in Ukraine of a plant for production of world?known product, for construction of the enterprise was selected industrial platform in Zolotonosha, Cherkasy region. This choice was not accidental. The management of the future enterprise ?FES UKR? traveled practically all over Ukraine, focusing on the most profitable from the point of view of logistics, geographical location, availability of qualified human resources and a certain platform. The best option was Zolotonosha. So in an abandoned industrial platform with an empty box instead of the corresponding premises the work has started. The equipment was delivered simultaneously with the rapid building of production facilities. The first line started to work in record time ? in the end of spring the company was defined with a platform, and in November, 11.11.11 with production lines come first products. Therefore, it is this date collective ?FES UKR? considers the enterprise?s birthday. A great merit of the management of the enterprise is to create the factory ? not just a collective of workers, but a like?minded team and enthusiasts of their business, capable of not just effectively and skillfully working, but also to solve non?standard tasks posed by the production. This understanding leads to the fact that the whole team works as a cohesive clockwork using the capacity of the plant for 100%. Of course, this coherence was not going easy. 2 years ago the newly elected team studied to produce new products simultaneously with the construction of the plant. And if in January?February the workers of the enterprise fought in order to workshop could produce 170?180 boxes of finished products per shift, at 1000 sachet in one box, now it is produced 650 boxes on the same period of time. People learned, improved their professional skills, thus increasing the company?s productivity. And if in the beginning of its existence the enterprise was advanced by the number of employees, now is by the quality of their work. Besides, the management encourages the team to high?quality work not only by a decent wage and complex social benefits but also with a good attitude. The employees are appreciated here not in words but in practice, therefore, the plant has a truly friendly but businesslike atmosphere. And the production process is designed to eliminate errors or failures.

Business grew quickly: soon after the start of the first workshop took place the opening of the second, then the third, and after it was made their modernization. After the fourth workshop was opened it has been equipped with Italian equipment for the production of products not in the sachets but in sticks. It was mastered quickly too. After some time, it was a problem of storage space ? first warehouses were rented in Kiev from where the products were diverged as throughout Ukraine and also abroad. And the question of warehouse space was solved on the spot. The enterprise has obtained its own modern, respectively equipped premises for storage of both products and raw materials, which allowed refusing from the services of expensive Kiev warehouses. Now this warehouse is already loaded on 100%.

Of course, in any business may have some technical problems, and it effective solution depends on the skills and enthusiasm of the engineering staff. At the plant ?FEZ UKR? real professionals in their field work who not only to serve the existing technology, but also constantly bring innovative ideas. They improve existing technology and certain manual processes make to be automated. And recently, the enterprise?s engineers faced a very difficult task: the plant has an expensive Italian machinery missile, which the developers have not considered very important point?? the packaged products became the box backwards. When professionals have asked the developers to fix the defect, it appeared that it was necessary to remove the machinery from production, to wait for a few months, and in addition to pay the tens of thousands of euros. At the same time, Singapore developers gave ?FES UKR? a new type of product which is also needed additional modifications in the existing equipment. These revisions also threatened to stop production for a few months and spending a lot of money. And this device produces 450 sticks for a moment. Then Ukrainian masters got down to business. They had calculated and experimented and in two weeks they have produced a prototype, which successfully passed the tests and was put into production. Thus the enterprise has saved tens of thousands of euros, after having spent only on the metal required for the device, and the employees received a well?deserved award. And such examples are a lot.

For only two years of the enterprise existence the line of products had been also expanded significantly. They started here with traditional drinks as instant coffee brands ?MacCoffe? and ?Petrovskaya Sloboda? production, and now they produce more than 58 items of various products. At the enterprise traditionally is supported the production of the two brands?? ?MacCoffee? and ?Petrovskaya Sloboda?, and also it was started the production of tea drinks, soluble trademark ?Mac Tea?, with aromas of lemon raspberry, strawberry, black currant, chocolate drinks of the trade mark ?Mac Chocolate?, natural freeze?dried soluble coffee.

Today the products of the company ?FES UKR? takes a leading position on the market of Ukraine, and the company is planning further expansion of its activity on the market. Also in difficult economic times effective production is capable not only to create new jobs with high salary and good working conditions, solving a number of social problems of the region, but also to provide jobs for a number of enterprises in the region, for example, sugar refineries, thereby supporting the economy of the region and working for the prosperity of the plant, region and Ukraine in general.
