In 2012, one of the oldest and best plants of the dairy processing industry of Ukraine ? Zolotonoshsky plant ? celebrated the 80^th anniversary. Since 2000, it is a part of ?Milk Alliance? holding company, the leader of cheese industry of our country, which combines strong enterprises producing cheeses and whole milk products.

Now, the products of Zolotonoshsky butter-making plant under the trademarks of ?Zlatokray?, ?Slavia? and ?Piriatin? are very popular not only in Ukraine but also far beyond. Hard cheese produced by Zolotonosha cheesemongers satisfies the most demanding tastes of Kazakhstan and Russia residents. And dry whey is exported all over the world: to Africa, Pakistan, Indonesia, Japan, Syria, China, Germany and Holland.

Almost a centenary celebration for the enterprise with a hard-working and creative team, led by a creative, extraordinary and highly professional head, is only the beginning of a new phase of successful work from the perspective of modern technologies. New life of the enterprise started with accession to the leadership of Mr. Vladislav Kulinich, a talented organizer who had come to the plant as a simple mechanic and eventually ?grew? as high as the head with a capital letter. And already in 2006, the enterprise launched a new modern hard cheese plant, the analogues of which in Ukraine can be counted on the fingers of one hand. The most modern equipment made it possible not only to comply with the most stringent requirements for products manufacture, but also to start output of new types of cheeses. Shortly thereafter, a Ukrainian-Dutch facility for dry milk mixtures production started to work at the plant. This facility has no analogues in our country at all.

The enterprise is in the state of continuous improvement of production process, upgrading of equipment, introduction of new technologies and formulations. During the period since 2006, capital investment into the plant development amounted to more than 80 million hryvnias. Moreover, the funds are invested not only into production development, but also into environment protection, in particular, the construction of a modern plant for preliminary treatment of wastewater is now being completed.

People at the plant are concerned about the ?white gold? being only of the highest grade. More than 30 kinds of dairy products are produced here. Among them are 24 kinds of hard cheeses, soft cheeses ?Liubitelsky? and ?Brynza?, whey powder, demineralized whey powder, skim milk powder, whole milk powder, sweet cream butter ?Extra? and ?Selianskoe?. Today, the production capacity of the main shops of the enterprise amounts to: hard cheese - 30 tons/day, milk powder - 30-36 tons/day, butter - 16 tons/day. Among the latest novelties of the plant are cheeses with addition of herbes de Provence which give an unsurpassed taste and aroma to the finished product.

The quality of products is taken very seriously here: a certified control and production laboratory maintains monitoring of both incoming raw material and products at all stages of production. For this purpose, the laboratory is fitted with all necessary equipment. In order to maintain consistent quality and safety of manufactured products, the plant has implemented ?The System of Food Safety Management DSTU ISO 22000:2007?, which allows continuous monitoring of compliance with sanitary and technological production requirements. And consumers show their appreciation to Zolotonosha cheesemongers with the growing demand for their products.

Public recognition is known to be ?people?s? and ?official?. First one is when a good high-quality product doesn?t lie long on store shelves; and the second is a total collection of awards, which is constantly increasing. Zolotonoshsky plant is a laureate of All-Ukrainian action ?Golden Fortune-1999? in the category of ?products as a pattern of consumer?s trust? of All-Ukrainian open rating ?The Wheel of Fortune?; it was repeatedly awarded with the Diploma of the National Exhibition Centre of Ukraine. The enterprise is the holder of ?All-Ukrainian Recognition? title; in addition, it is awarded with the Diploma ?For quality and professionalism?.

And as for the products, ?Rossiysky? hard cheese produced by Zolotonoshsky plant was awarded with the Golden Medal of the National Association of Dairymen of Ukraine in 2011; ?Syrpriz? cheese was a finalist of All-Ukrainian competition of quality of products, goods and works ?100 best goods of Ukraine in 2011?; and ?Marquis de Cheese? hard cheese was awarded with the Diploma and the Golden Medal of the tasting competition of dairy products quality of the Central Branch Taste Panel of the National Association of Dairymen of Ukraine in 2012.

The basis of the enterprise success, in addition to high professionalism of the workers and technological innovations, is, of course, the work of a village resident, who produces the keystone - milk. The plant purchases raw milk from collective farms and households in Cherkassy, Poltava, Kiev, Kirovograd and Zhitomir regions.
